Terms of Use
Last updated: May 11, 2026 · v1
Kid Camp List ("the site", "we", "us") is operated by Gardner Tech Group. By using the site you agree to these terms. We've kept them short on purpose and written them in plain English. If something here matters to you, email us.
What the site is
A directory of summer camps for kids. We aggregate publicly available information about camps, organize it, and add features like search, favorites, and reviews. We are not a camp, do not run camps, and do not sell camp enrollment. When you find a camp here, you register directly with that camp.
Accuracy
Camp details (dates, prices, ages, location, accreditation status) are gathered from camp websites and other public sources, and we do our best to keep them current. We don't guarantee accuracy. Before registering, always confirm details on the camp's own website. If you spot something wrong, send us feedback and we'll fix it.
ACA Accredited badge
When you see an "ACA Accredited" badge on a camp, it means we've verified the camp appears in the American Camp Association's public Find ACA Camps directory at the time of marking. Accreditation can lapse — always confirm current status with the camp or on ACA's site before relying on it. Kid Camp List is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with the American Camp Association. "ACA Accredited®" is a registered trademark of the American Camp Association, used here factually to describe camps that hold that credential.
Your account & content you submit
If you sign in, you agree to provide accurate information and not to impersonate anyone else. You're responsible for activity under your account.
If you submit a camp suggestion, review, or feedback, you confirm that you have the right to share that content and that it's truthful. By submitting, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, edit, and use that content on the site. We may remove anything we judge to be spam, harassment, defamation, or otherwise inappropriate.
Reviews should reflect a genuine experience with the camp. Don't post reviews of camps you have not attended or whose program you have no direct knowledge of.
Acceptable use
Don't do anything illegal, abusive, or harmful with the site. In particular, don't:
- Attempt to break, probe, or interfere with the site's security or operation.
- Submit content that is false, misleading, defamatory, or that infringes someone else's rights.
- Use the site to send spam or solicit users.
- Impersonate another person, business, or camp.
No scraping or automated extraction
The compiled list of camps on Kid Camp List — including the structured data,
cross-references, classifications, accreditation flags, and editorial summaries —
is the result of substantial original work. You may browse the site as a human,
and reputable search engines may index it according to the rules in our
robots.txt. Beyond that:
- Do not use bots, crawlers, scrapers, or any automated means to extract, copy, or download data from the site in bulk.
- Do not republish, resell, or redistribute our camp directory, in whole or in substantial part, without our written permission.
- Do not use the site or its data to train machine-learning models without our written permission.
- Do not circumvent or attempt to circumvent any rate-limit, access control, or technical restriction we put in place.
Researchers, journalists, and would-be partners: we're happy to talk. Email us rather than scraping, and we can almost certainly work something out.
Our intellectual property
The site's name, design, code, and original written content (descriptions, summaries, category groupings) are ours. Individual camp facts — names, addresses, dates — are not copyrightable, but our selection, arrangement, and presentation of them are. Trademarks belonging to camps, ACA, or other third parties remain the property of their respective owners and are used here factually to identify those entities.
Links to other sites
We link to camp websites and other third-party pages. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy, privacy practices, or what happens when you register or pay there.
No warranty & limitation of liability
The site is provided as-is. We make no warranties — express or implied — about the accuracy of camp information, the quality or safety of any listed camp, or the availability of the site itself.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Gardner Tech Group is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or your interactions with camps you find through it. Choosing a camp for your kids is your decision and your responsibility.
Termination
We may suspend or remove your access to the site at any time if you violate these terms or do anything we reasonably believe is harmful to the site or other users.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we change something material we'll bump the version and date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
